Verãopop - st 2014

The Portuguese drone/ psychedelic duo Verãopop debut album, a self-titled release was recorded live in Lisbon as a jam session, and just released by the Greek label Etched Traumas. Equally influenced by the psychedelic soundscapes of the likes of Popol Vuh and the dark ambient drones of Nadja, Verãopop mixes slow, deep synths with theremin and samples to achieve a coherent, tight sound, that is both direct and experimental.
