Selected live tracks (one by each act that played) from the KEEP OUR HEADS cassette release shows at Slabtown, Portland, April 26 and 27, 2013 featuring: ACRE, IX, NORSKA, HOT VICTORY, BIG BLACK CLOUD, GAYTHEIST, REDNECK, SIOUX, PALO VERDE, TOWERS, HONDURAN, and RABBITS. Fester and Ryan Foster did mixing and mastering of a very rough 4-track recording. It's pretty rough around the edges, but anyway it definitely captured the heavy posi-vibes. Few copies of the original KEEP OUR HEADS compilation cassette (with koozie!) are still available at this location! Heavy vibes alive!

KEEP OUR HEADS is a 99-minute soundtrack to the Portland heavy underground featuring 26 exclusive tracks from stalwarts in the local metal/ sludge/ doom/ prog/ punk/ rock/ thrash/ hardcore/ noise community, like some twisted, many-headed beast raised on the soundtracks to River's Edge, Lost Highway, and Repo Man. With but a few exceptions, all the tracks were recorded in Portland specifically for this compilation, a first from Portland's extreme/outsider music label Eolian Empire.
