Sonic Doom: The Movie - Umor and Cojones documentary

Sonic Doom: The Movie, which describes the musical path of two Croatian underground bands Umor and Cojones. Both bands exist under this names since 2006. That year was followed by numerous releases , which first of those came out under the auspices of an independent label Sonic Doom Records, whose ideological guiding principle was to gather similar bands who played stoner or similar genre music. Sonic Doom Records was and still is all about DIY approach to music – creating and promoting. These band toured 3 years together and then they split but continued touring each on it's own. All are still friends. Umor remained consistent to Sonic Doom Records under which they'll soon release their new album - Held Us Silent For a Moment. Footage - interviews recorded in December 2013, cam clips from /08./09./10./11.

„This film is my first amateur attempt to create a rock documentary and given the speed of recording and collecting snapshots, editing and conceptual directing, with a heavy heart I will confess that I am satisfied.

I wanted to show the true love for music that all the people in the movie share – creating new music or managing the bands and I hope that I have succeeded. I hope that other bands who are considering similar

steps will see what awaits them – roads, mishaps, obstacles and challenges. Music is tough business these days. There are thousands and thousands of bands in every country but only the ones who persist in their work, quality work, prevail.“
